By accessing our website, requesting a quote, or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must not use our services.
2. Services
Khalid Labs provides IT services including web development, mobile app development, backend engineering, Shopify development, UI/UX design, and digital marketing. The scope of each project will be defined in a written proposal or contract agreed upon by both parties.
3. Payments
Payments must be made according to the terms in your invoice or contract. Unless otherwise specified, fees are due in advance or on agreed project milestones. Late payments may result in service suspension or termination. All payments are subject to UK taxation rules where applicable.
4. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise agreed, all intellectual property rights in deliverables remain with Khalid Labs until full payment has been received. Upon payment, ownership of deliverables will transfer to the client, except for proprietary tools, frameworks, or code libraries owned by Khalid Labs. We may showcase non-confidential work in our portfolio in compliance with UK copyright law.
5. Data Protection & Privacy
We handle personal data in compliance with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Any personal information collected will only be used for the purposes of delivering services, invoicing, or maintaining communication. Clients are responsible for ensuring that any personal data shared with us complies with relevant UK and EU data protection laws.
6. Client Responsibilities
Clients must provide accurate and timely information, approvals, and materials required for project delivery. Delays caused by the client may affect timelines and costs.
7. Use of Services
You agree not to misuse our services, attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, or use our deliverables for unlawful purposes. All use must comply with applicable UK laws, including the Computer Misuse Act 1990.
8. Confidentiality
We treat all client information as confidential and will not disclose it to third parties without consent, except where required by UK law.
9. Limitation of Liability
While we strive to deliver high-quality and reliable services, Khalid Labs cannot guarantee error-free or uninterrupted outcomes. To the maximum extent permitted under UK law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.
10. Termination
Either party may terminate a contract with written notice. In such cases, the client remains responsible for all work completed and costs incurred up to the termination date. Khalid Labs reserves the right to terminate services immediately if the client breaches these Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of our services after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
